CBSE is conducting an Virtual Workshops for CBSE School Leaders, Teachers, Counselors, Parents, and Students (July 2024)

To ensure the professional development of school leaders, teachers, and counselors in area of
career/psychosocial counseling, and to facilitate students and parents in the career decision-making process,
CBSE will be organizing a training series in July 2024. This will be a series of five virtual workshops (Details at
Annexure –A), focusing on one stakeholder per week, specially designed to provide the participants with a
holistic approach to career advising and decision-making processes. The schedule and registration details are
given below:
Description: Designed for CBSE school principals, this workshop delves into the critical role of career counseling in the
evolving education landscape. It addresses the dual impact of counseling: the immediate improvement in student learning
outcomes and the long-term benefits such as enhanced well-being, readiness for employment, and a strengthened alumni
network. The session will present strategies for systemic changes within school systems, guided by ethical frameworks.
Participants will learn about integrating a comprehensive counseling program that aligns with the New Education Policy
(NEP), aiming to create an educational environment where students excel academically and are well-prepared for their
future careers. The workshop encourages collaboration among educators to transform schools into supportive ecosystems
for holistic student development. This is an opportunity for educational leaders to contribute to a significant, positive change
in education, ensuring students are equipped for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
